4 Multiples of 12 / 3 pts

  1. Write the first five multiples of 12.
  2. Is 96 a multiple of 12? Justify.
  3. Which multiple of 12 is between 100 and 110?

5 Prime or composite / 4 pts

  1. Say whether each number is prime or composite: 31, 57, 73, 85.
  2. Which prime number is even?
  3. Why is 1 neither prime nor composite?

6 Divisibility and patterns / 3 pts

  1. Is 7,128 divisible by 2? By 5? By 9? Explain with the digits.
  2. Write the first five terms of the pattern that starts at 5 and follows the rule “add 8.”
