Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Planète Maths (planete-maths.eu) processes, why, and what rights you have, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679). The site may be used by minors, so we collect the bare minimum.

1. Data controller

Sébastien Reingbach, 12 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 75016 Paris, France. For any question about your data, use the form on the Contact page.

2. Data we process

  • Contact form: the name, email address and message you choose to enter. They are used only to reply to you and are deleted no later than 12 months after the last exchange.
  • Progress in challenges and interactive exercises: points, streaks and best scores stay in your browser (local storage). They are never sent to our server.
  • Technical data: like any web server, ours records IP addresses and requested pages in logs kept for a few weeks for security and proper operation.
  • Purchases and subscriptions (when these services open): payments are handled by PayPal. Planète Maths never sees or stores your card number; it keeps only what is needed for the order and access to the file you bought.

3. What we do not do

No advertising tracking, no profiling, no resale of data. No account is needed to read lessons, do exercises, use the tools or download the free documents.

4. Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies required for it to work (for example your language choice). No advertising cookie is set by default.

5. Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, its correction, erasure, restriction or objection to its processing, and its portability, by writing through the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). If you are under 15, please ask a parent before sending a message.

6. Hosting and security

Data is hosted by OVH SAS in France. Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to the administration area is protected.

7. Updates

This policy may change as new services open; the version in force is always the one on this page.
