  4. 5 groups of 6

2 Reading an array / 4 pts

A flower bed has 5 rows with 4 flowers in each row.

  1. How many flowers are in the bed?
  2. Write two multiplication equations for the array.
  3. Fill in the box: \( 8 \times 3 = 3 \times \square \).

3 Skip counting / 3 pts

A snail climbs 3 inches each minute. It climbs for 7 minutes.

  1. Skip count by 3 to list how high it is after each minute.
  2. Write the multiplication equation for the total height.

4 Zeros and ones / 3 pts

Find each product.

  1. \( 12 \times 0 \)
  2. \( 1 \times 15 \)
  3. \( 0 \times 1 \)

5 Bookshelves / 4 pts

Ava has 6 shelves. Each shelf holds 7 books.

  1. How many books are on the shelves?
  2. Ava adds one more shelf with 7 books. How many books does she have now? Use a multiplication equation.

6 True or false / 2 pts

Say whether each statement is true or false and explain briefly.

  1. \( 4 \times 6 = 6 \times 4 \)
  2. \( 5 \times 0 = 5 \)
