4 Adding angles / 4 pts

(a) A right angle is split into 56° and another angle. Find the other angle.

(b) A gate opens 48°, then 37°, then 29° more. What is the total opening?

(c) How many more degrees until the gate makes a straight angle?

5 Triangles and quadrilaterals / 4 pts

(a) A triangle has three sides of 7 cm. Classify it by its sides. (b) A triangle has angles 90°, 30° and 60°. Classify it by its angles. (c) A quadrilateral has four equal sides and no right angles. Name it. (d) True or false: every square is a rectangle.

6 Symmetry / 3 pts

(a) How many lines of symmetry does an equilateral triangle have? (b) And a rectangle that is not a square? (c) A rectangle 10 cm by 6 cm is folded along a line of symmetry. Give the two possible sizes of the folded rectangle.
